Employment-Seeking CNA Nurse Evaluator
Our American Red Cross Nurse Assistant evaluators provide an important service in our community by providing access to testing for CNA registry candidates. Successfully completing the CNA registry exam provides CNA candidates with the opportunity to seek employment in healthcare facilities in our community. We are seeking an evaluator in Hayward, 4 days per month, no evenings. Availability four Fridays a month is desirable. A current RN license is required in addition to two years experience in a skilled nursing geriatric care facility. This is a paid position. Employment-Seeking a Nurse Assistant Training Instructor
Our American Red Cross Nurse Assistant Training (NAT) instructors provide an important service in our community by providing quality training for students interested in a career in healthcare. NAT instructors utilize the Red Cross program materials to teach the essential skills and knowledge students need to become qualified CNA’s. Instructors facilitate both the classroom and lab training, and the off site training at area nursing homes, in a 120 hour program format.
We are seeking a trainer for our chapter offices and classroom. Applicants must have a current RN license and two years of experience in a skilled nursing facility. A desire to work with students with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds, with the goal of successful program completion, is necessary. Prior teaching or managerial experience is a plus.
