2010-05-10 - Western Wisconsin Deploys Volunteers to Tennessee

The Western Wisconsin Chapter of the American Red Cross has deployed four volunteers to assist with the flood recovery effort in and around Tennessee.

  • Barbara Sweet of Burnett County will be working with Disaster Mental Health and will assist wtih counseling and emotional support to those affected by the recent flooding.
  • Donna Borner of Dunn County will be working with Client Casework where she will meet with those affected by the flooding and assessing thier immediate recovey needs.
  • Earl Eckwright of Chippewa County and Paul Vanderheiden of Eau Claire County will be driving the Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicles and providing mass feeding and outreach.

Additional volunteers are ready and waiting to get the call. The Western Wisconsin Chapter will continue to assist with the recovery effort in any way we can.
